Hail the King
Leywel, Father of Cynrain
The rail thin Great Grandfather of Sir Herlews.
Leywel was born in 410 AD, and was raised to knighthood in 431 by the Count Reginald of Salisbury, under the authority of King Constantin. He witnessed and fought against invaders in the forms of Pictish barbarians to the north, and strange speaking Germans to the south. Unlike his ilk, he was unable to grow a beard, and stayed cleanly shaven for most of his life. He died shortly before his son Cynrain was knighted, of the pox.
